Why you never have to do the gardening ever again

Summer is fast approaching, which means it’s time to get your gardens in order! You can finally have that barbecue you’ve been dreaming about.

Frankly speaking, there’s no reason for your garden to be obsolete. I’m aware that some aren’t particularly fond of gardening, so this post is specifically for those of YOU that run from gardening; guess what, you may never have to do the gardening ever again!

Here are some tips to have an attractive ‘garden’ without the actual garden.

Simply think of your garden as an outdoor living space instead of a place full of trees, plants and flowers.

Firstly, with  a theme in mind, you should think of getting a shed. This will help you fill up your garden and utilise the space. There’s so much you can do with your shed. You can turn it into an office, a sauna, sewing room, library or even a space to host book clubs.

Have a look at our previous post more options.

With a little bit of cash, your options are pretty much endless. I would only suggest that you make sensible decisions as the items in the shed will be open to more risk of theft and damage, seeing as it is outside your home.

A gazebo will also be a good option for an outdoor dining area or just a place to unwind. As you guys know, I’m a sucker for Ikea. While shopping, I came across this veiled gazebo, which is perfect for the summer.

If you would like a more rustic garden, then you can consider metal gazebos. Here are some more ideas.

To limit the amount of gardening, get the garden decking or paving installed. This also adds to the ambience. If you have enough room, you can also consider a pond.

The garden furniture and lighting is the key to jazzing up this ‘outdoor space’. Make sure the furniture you choose compliments your theme. The kind of lighting you choose will add to the ambience, so choose carefully.

You actually don’t need any plants in sight, however, if you would like some greenery, you may scatter plants around the garden. Get plants that do not need a lot of tending, otherwise this will defeat the purpose of your new garden.

It’s gardening time…
